2025 Concert on the Green Poster Art Competition

Rules and Submission Guidelines for COG Poster Contest:

The annual Concert on the Green Poster Contest is an excellent opportunity for students and their art programs. Winning students will receive a scholarship award and their work will be displayed on our website.

When submitting a poster for our contest, make sure that your art follows the theme and is sized properly. Be sure to ask your art teacher for help or feedback when designing your poster.

Who is Eligible? Any student in grades 4-12 who lives in or attends school in Clay County.

Theme: The theme of the poster contest for Grades 4-6 is “COCOA & CAROLS”. Concert on the Green - through Cocoa & Carols- is supporting student vocalists and instrumentalists by offering a chance to perform live in front of thousands of Clay County residents and visitors in a beautiful backdrop behind Moosehaven on River Road in Orange Park, Florida. We are looking for exciting art that we can use to promote this event, and the winning art will be used for this purpose. This event is now held in December of each year.

For poster contestants Grades 7-12, the theme is “Building Community through the Arts” which is a tagline Concert on the Green uses in communications. For this competition, we are looking for dynamic yet simple ways to express this tagline, and the contest is to help us illustrate the unifying power and joy music and art bring to our community.

Entry Requirements: There is no cost for entry. Only one poster per student is allowed. The poster design must cover a 11 x 12 section of a 11 x 17 paper or canvas (saving 5" on BOTTOM) using any artistic medium. Canvas shall not be stretched on a frame. Artwork must be flat.
