Our annual Howard Tappan Memorial Young Artists Music Competition is an excellent opportunity for instrumental and vocal students in Clay County. Winning students receive a scholarship award in the amount of $1,000.  This year's 1 st place winner for instrumentalist is Ellison Whitehead on the piano training under the direction of Boril Ivanov.  This year's 1st place winner for vocalist is Sydney Copeland training under the direction of Stephanie Copeland.  Congratulations to both of our winners, all our finalists, and all their teachers!

The Concert on the Green William Prince Outstanding Jazz Musician Competition was launched in 2018.  This competition celebrates jazz music education for our Clay County students.  Grace Noel Rodriguez is the winner of the award for 2020.  Grace is training under the direction of Dr. James Hall.  Congratulations to Grace and Dr. Hall!   Click here to see all our 2020 music contest winners!
